Jerilyn Inman of Moulton, Iowa has been involved in Appanoose County 4-H a majority of her lifetime. She has touched the lives of many youth throughout the years of being a 4-H leader and an Appanoose County Fair Superintendent. She is always willing to dedicate time to help 4-H members with their projects, whether that be preparing youth to show a new species or ensuring that their projects are ready for judging.
4-H has held a special place in her heart as she continues to carry on family traditions. She has been a 4-H leader for the Well Rustlers 4-H and Clover Kids Club for 21 years. Throughout the years of being a leader, Jerilyn shared her passion with her four children and continues to do so as her grandchildren are beginning their journey in 4-H. She provides support to all youth whether you are family or a 4-H member. Jerilyn is always supportive and willing to lend a helping hand to ensure that the youth have a positive experience. During fair week you can find her in the small animal barn surrounded by family, friends and 4-H members, helping announce shows, or co-coordinating the Fair Queen Contest.
Not only is she highly involved in the Appanoose County 4-H Program she also is an outstanding community supporter. Jerilyn has been a local EMT offers her expertise in the field whenever the need arises. In recent years, Jerilyn and her husband Greg built their family business, Valley View Event Center from the ground up. With their love for the local community, they felt that this was a way that they could give back to the community members. Appanoose County 4-H has benefited from their family business as they graciously offer their venue each year to host the Appanoose County 4-H Awards Banquet.
Jerilyn continues to take the time to serve Appanoose County 4-H members because of her love for the youth and the 4-H program and we could not imagine the Appanoose County 4-H Program without her.
