Tammy Curley

In 2002, Tammy joined the Bremer County Iowa State Extension and Outreach team. With friendly customer service, support to staff, willingness to help, and a passion to make the best better, Tammy supported Bremer County 4-H in many important ways. She was a constant in the office that families, 4-Hers, customers, and staff could count on.

Tammy was passionate about youth leadership roles within 4-H and loves the values these leadership opportunities create. She made an effort to provide efficient service and a friendly atmosphere. Her attention to detail and organization were skills that set her above the rest. She is a great role model to 4-H’ers and their families for record-keeping, attention to detail, and organization.

Tammy's support for 4-H was not limited to the office. She enjoyed attending the Bremer County Fair and providing support to 4-Hers, families, and staff. She enjoyed customer service and helped when needed. One of her favorite parts of the fair was viewing the youth's projects. She loved selecting photos of youth exhibited to decorate the office.

Tammy continued her employment through 2022 when she retired after 20 years.

Tammy resides in Fairbank with her husband, Keith. Together they continue operating their business, Curley Sausage Kitchen. Tammy enjoys spending time at their cabin near Harpers Ferry. She is a mother to two adult children, Jake and Cody.
