LeAnn Schipper began her involvement in the Butler County 4-H program as a fourth grader. She was a member of the Jefferson Livewires 4-H club where she served as a leader in a variety of officer positions. 
LeAnn was also very active at the county level. She participated in County Council and the Butler County Fair. She received several awards, including Outstanding Senior, and had many projects advance to the state fair. After college, LeAnn moved back to Butler County and served from 2005-2008 as a member of the Butler County Extension Council.
She has spent the last 12 years as a member of the Butler County 4-H and Youth Committee, where she once again has taken a leadership role and for the past 4 years has served as the committee’s president. She continues to organize and run the Feed Shed during the county fair, review record books for awards, and serves on different sub-committees.
