Sheryl Muhs was the office manager for the Van Buren County Extension office for 12 years, from 1992 to 2004, under the direction of Sandra McLain, the County Extension Director. 
Sheryl served as fair superintendent of the horse barn for the county fair. She served as the 4-H horse club leader for 8 years. She planned and taught horse workshops to help the 4-Hers prepare for the fair. She took a team of 4-Hers to the state fair and to the National Livestock Show in Denver.
Sheryl helped the 4-H members with their projects, fair entries, and record books. She always encouraged the youth to try new things or anything that interested them.
Sheryl continues to be a strong supporter of youth and 4-H.
