Dianne Mann has always been a great supporter of 4-H in Harrison County.  She was a member of the Pisgah Pixies 4-H Club. Dianne Mann

Dianne always saved fair week, even when she was still working full-time, to “help out” at the Harrison County Fair and a few extra days before the fair.  For several years, Dianne has been one of the interviewers for the first round of the county 4-H King and Queen Contest and helps at the reception after the crowning.  She is in charge of the Family Consumer Science static exhibits at fair and does a fabulous job displaying the selected exhibits in the State Fair Booth.

Dianne helps at the Apple Pie/Muffin contest doing everything from helping the younger 4-Hers, to baking and lining up the youth for the auction.  Mainly, Dianne is the “right hand” of the CYC during fair week!

Dianne retired from the ASCS office a few years ago and now fills her time volunteering.  She was a member of a clown group and was known as “Cuddles the Clown”.  Cuddles and her friends would spread cheer  going to hospitals, birthday parties, the fair, and other places.

Dianne cooks all summer, except for fair week, for a church camp in Western Iowa.  She is very active with her church activities also.  No matter what she is doing, Dianne is always ready to help 4-H and others throughout the year where needed.

Harrison County 4-H is very lucky to have Dianne Mann as a 4-H volunteer.
