Kim RubyKim Ruby has been an active 4-H volunteer for many years in Kossuth County.  He started out helping his sons with their 4-H projects, then moved on to being a 4-H leader for the local club.

In 1995, he accepted the beef superintendent position for the county fair and holds that position today.

Kim was not a 4-H member growing up, but he was given the honor of becoming an honorary 4-H member in 2007.  He has helped many local 4-Hers with projects including letting them use his buildings for their livestock projects.  Kim also mentors the youth who participate in his program by passing along advice on different projects.
