Dean and Nathalie Lathrop have been lifelong supporters of the 4-H program in Monroe County. Both have served on the Monroe County Fair Board for many years putting hours in to volunteer to help make the best better. They also serve as Fair Board secretary-treasurer. With their outstanding support they help the Monroe County 4-H & FFA Fair run smoothly.
Dean has been serving as a swine superintendent since shortly after graduating from high school. Before that he was a nine year 4-H member and received the county 4-H Alumni Award.
Nathalie has served on the Fair Board since 1995 and received the county Honorary 4-H award.
Dean and Nathalie’s two children were active 4-H members and now have grandchildren who are actively involved in the 4-H program. Dean and Nathalie continue to give graciously back to the Monroe County 4-H program through their sponsorship of awards and trophies in the swine department. Monroe County is honored and grateful to have 4-H supporters like Dean and Nathalie Lathrop.
