Ronda Gray comes from a family with a long 4-H history. Her grandmother was a leader, her dad was an active 4-H member, her mother was a 4-H leader, and she herself was a ten year member of the Ledyard 4-Leaf Clovers, as were her three sisters. Ronda became a 4-H leader when her daughter, Kristy, became a very active member of the Titonka Valley Indians and still remains the leader long after her daughter graduated. She has now been a leader for 17 years.
She spends a lot of time at the Extension Office for one type of meeting or another. She is serving her second term on the County Extension Council, on which she serves as secretary. She is one of the founding members of the local foundation that helps promotes youth programming, Friends of Kossuth Youth & 4-H, of which she is treasurer. Ronda has served two six year terms on the youth committee, in which she has served as president several years.
Ronda loves going to fairs and helping where needed. She has helped at the Iowa State Fair and many jobs at the Kossuth County Fair. She also volunteers where needed in her community of Titonka.
Ronda is employed at the Titonka Savings Bank as a customer service representative. She is a faithful member at the Lakota Presbyterian Church. She is an elder, Sunday School teacher, and president of the ladies group.
Married to her husband Kevin, they farm the Gray family farm. Ronda works on the farm when time permits. They have two children; daughter, Kristy (Chris) have three children, Bode, Tucker, and Emma and son Kurtis (Jenn). Both children live in the county and family time is an important part of their lives. Ronda is looking forward to her grandchildren becoming involved in the 4-H program. In her spare time she likes to quilt, travel, bicycle and spend time with her family.
Ronda truly “Bleeds Green” as they say about those who are truly believers in the 4-H program.
