The Jackson County 4-H Program is honored to have Liz Lindstrom as the 2009 4-H Hall of Fame recipient. Liz was not a 4-H’er, but has been very active with 4-H since her children were young. Liz married Arnold Lindstrom and has four children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; everyone active in the 4-H program.
Liz has been through 42 years of Jackson County Fair, starting as a member of the 4-H Food Stand Committee and helps to organize ordering supplies needed for fair. Liz has been a member of the Poultry Committee for 39 years and helped organize the Jackson County Poultry Association along with husband and children. She was a club leader for 16 years for the Cloverites Club in Jackson County. Two of her children have been leaders of the same club. Liz has judged at county fairs and local shows.
Congratulations to Liz for receiving this great honor.
