Paul Glenn is the type of individual that is always eager to donate his services to the 4-H program. During his youth, he was an active 4-H member and participated in the 4-H livestock judging contest at the State Fair for five years.
Paul has continued that interest in the livestock production and has taken steps to provide encouragement to 4-H members that are involved in the livestock industry. For many years, Paul and his business associates have personally sponsored the scanning fees for the youth swine show at the Great Jones County Fair as well as at other neighboring county fairs. Such donations of over $1,000 per year are not uncommon for Paul and are significant investments for promoting quality livestock production for young exhibitors. According to the county extension staff, “Paul is considered a true partner of Extension and 4-H for his continued support of positive youth development.”
