Bob was a 4-H leader for his sons’ club for 18 years. He chaperoned several Chicago trips and field trips. He served on the Hancock Co. Fairboard for over 15 years, serving as board president for nine years. He initiated many fair changes to better the fair for his beloved 4-H youth. Bob was inducted as an Honorary Member in our county in 1978 and Honorary Alumni in 1987.
