2005 Marshall County - Robert FullerRobert started attending the Central Iowa Fair (Marshall County) in 1929 when he was nine years old.  He has continued to attend the county fair each and every year. Robert is 85 years old. He is the father of four daughters, all of whom were 4-H members. He was the 4-H leader of the Melbourne 4-H Club for 28 years and helped numerous exhibitors with their beef projects and other livestock projects.  

Robert is currently a director of the Central Iowa Fair Board helping to plan activities for the 4-H members in Marshall County and until this pat year was the grounds keeper of the fairgrounds.  He was honored and selected to the Central Iowa Fair Hall of Fame in 1995 along with is wife, Elaine. Robert was a long time breeder of Angus cattle and exhibited many times at the Iowa State Fair along with several other national shows.  He is an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Marshalltown Bobcat fan and enjoys his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
