Ronald TurkRonald Turk has been a leader of the Franklin Farmhands 4-H Club for 52 years. Through those 52 years he has served many families, and now is in the third generation.  Ronald is not only a leader but through his faith, kindness, and excellent sense of humor, serves as a positive role model to each of his members.  From the cookies on the plate to the grand champion animal, Ronald sees the importance of each exhibit.  And whether his members stand first or last in their class, he is as proud of them as any parent.

Although Ronald’s health prevents him from doing many of the things he enjoys, such as traveling around the world, he has not LET it stop him from enjoying the accomplishments of his 4-H’ers.  No matter how hot, he is at both the county fair and state fair watching, taping and cheering.  Just imagine him leaning over to the stranger sitting next to him at the state fair proudly saying “that’s my kid”.
