Dick Bruene is a former 4-H member, past leader of the Wolfcreek Whirlwinds, former committee member and a member of the Friends of Extension Committee. Dick was instrumental in raising the money for a new show ring in 1993 when the old building collapsed from a heavy snow load in late March. The building was not covered by insurance for this type of damage. Dick not only helped raised enough for the show ring but had funds left over for other building improvements the next few years.
Dick donated to the swine project and for many years make wooden pig plaques for the winners of the swine project series. Dick has been a volunteer for 4-H, Extension and his community for many years.
