During the past 8 years, Darwin Svuba has served on the Pocahontas County Extension Council and has been the chair for the past 6 years. He has also been on the fair board for 6 years and had served as the chair for 3. Darwin has shown outstanding leadership in youth programming in these two roles and has led efforts to provide outstanding building fair facilities for 4-H. He has been chairman of the swine committee and bucket calf departments and announces the swine show. Darwin works hard to market Extension programs and the 4-H program.
