2002 Clayton County - James C. HoschJim has been with Clayton County Extension Service for 40 years.  He is a well-respected and identifiable community leader.  Jim makes the youth program a very important part of the Clayton County Extension program in his marketing work and every day contacts.  Jim has helped with day camps, county fair, Leader Training, 4-H awards night, and much more.

As a county extension education director, Jim serves as an important contact for 4-H volunteers in Clayton County.  He served for over 15 years on the Central Community School Board and worked for the efforts of young people.

A former 4-H staff member shared that Jim helped her develop a positive work ethic and she still appreciates him for that today.
Four out of Jim and Madonna’s six children were 4-H’ers.  Several served in a leadership role on the Clayton 4-H County Council and one went to National Congress.  Who better to represent Clayton County as their Hall of Fame representative than James C. Hosch.
