Emily Saveraid

Emily has been the Executive Director of the Iowa 4-H Foundation since July 2017 after previously serving as Director of Development. Emily graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly and earned bachelor’s degrees in public relations and political science. She also has an MA in Philanthropy and Non Profit Development from the University of Northern Iowa. Emily was a nine-year 4-H’er from Linn County and a member of the Prairie Union Wildcats. She participated in projects from home improvement and photography to sheep and horse. Emily also served on State 4-H Council and the Iowa 4-H Foundation Board as a youth trustee. Emily, her husband, Greg, and their daughters, live near Elkhart. Emily joined the Foundation staff in January of 2015.
